wow I didn't know you could do that in chatbox messages, cool. Anyway, I think you can understand it, there is a /b missing in the highlighted words as there is only the b at the start.
@Kpoluk I see in the Demo Rules that demos recorded before 2016 are not allowed. Why aren't they?
Also, a few very small errors/spelling I noticed in the Demo Rules page: there is a "]" right at the bullet point of the rule about "+strafe".
In the section of the same page right at the bottom, in the section about demos with checkpoints, in the second bullet point, the word "must" is supposed to be in bold, but it's not because there is just a "" but no . The same goes for the third bullet point, same "" before [mpbhop] but no "".
At the very bottom of the page in the "Note" paragraph, the same thing, "" but no "" before "/cp", and in the same paragraph, there is also "" before "/gc" but no "".
In the Kreedz Tutorial page, in the Advanced Kreedz part, it's supposed to be "in development" instead of "in developing".
@Kpoluk I ask because of how well you combined the calculations with visualizations like graphs and illustrations, generally schools don't go that deep as it is just only numbers and a basic graph calculator needed in later years, only higher education teaches graphs and illustrations like that in the tutorials. Visualizations in math and other topics make it a lot easier to understand subjects.
@Kpoluk I read the tutorial articles and I'm very impressed by all the calculations and graphs. Do you have a background in mathematics or do you only know math from programming courses?
@Kpoluk I have a question I've wanting to ask for a pretty long time now but I always forget.
Why do you add a "note" to maps (when adding new maps to the servers) when they don't have a teleport to take back to the start of the map? Why should that be noted or of importance when there is a plugin to take you back to the start by simply giving /start command?
@Kpoluk I saw through videos that somehow checkpoints are now possible on slides. Can you explain how you made checkpoints work in such a way? How can you checkpoint on slides but at the same time not in the air, when whenever people tried to make such a plugin change, the only way was to allow checkpoints in the air? Did you somehow manage to make slides be detected as solid ground? I'm confused. The same thing also applies to ladders; back in the day, checkpoints on ladders were not possible.
Why does the pro/nub15 thing at the top of the website give you the wrong rank number? On bk_icerock, it says place: 231, but I'm definitely not 231st.
Guys, my documentary about shooting-star will be live today at 20:00 CET, stay tuned, it's in 4 hours!
Here is the link for the premiere:
@outside the problem is, when that error happens I don't have the map downloaded so I can't delete it to re-download. It simply won't download the map, it will just throw that error at me forcing me to download the map off the web.
@Kpoluk I mean, it's helpful and makes you learn maps to the fullest in surf; for kz maps, it wouldn't be groundbreaking since we don't really have a use for advanced checkpoints except for slide maps, which would be interesting since you need actual speed for those. It would be fun to see the ideal run in some maps, especially slides.
@OverjoyedBrass what you are referring to is called a segmented (or TAS in a sense) speedrun. This clock and checkpoint feature you mentioned is extensively used on bhop/surf modes in cs source. It is also available on surf-gateway on 1.6, and it makes practicing maps 1000x better. You really see an improvement with it.
