@narasslabone у нас раньше была система автоматического получения рекордов с других сообществ и эта фишка работала корректно, но после того как Cosy закрылся Cloudflare всё сломалось, а теперь ещё и на XJ новая система. В общем это требует обновления сайта.

С Новым Годом, ребята! Присоединяюсь к поздравлениям и выражаю благодарность всем тем, кто участвовал, участвует и будет участвовать в жизни сообщества. При этом участвовать в жизни сообщества можно разными способами, не только создавая карты или записывая рекорды, но и оставляя комментарии, сообщения на форуме и в чате.

Огромная благодарность донатерам и спонсорам турниров, ведь вы даете глоток свежего воздуха и позволяете проводить увлекательные мероприятия. Я очень надеюсь, что их будет больше в 26 году.

Особая благодарность тем, кто продолжает привлекать людей к кридз через репосты новостей или же приобщает к этому делу друзей.

Бесконечная благодарность Кролику, который из года в год проделывает просто титанический труд! Без него наше сообщество бы не существовало.

Желаю чтобы KZ-Rush в 26 году обзавелся:
1) хотя бы одним мувимейкером, который сможет стабильно делать ROTW
2) хотя бы одним редактором, который сможет писать интересные новости и заметки из мира Kreedz. Как это было в Weekly на KZRU. Это было бы очень круто и разнообразило бы нашу ленту новостей
3) проводил больше разнообразных ивентов

I completely agree and support Kpoluk's position.

If we start unsubstantiated labeling, we slide into a situation where any strong player becomes a suspect and potential cheater.

Many times we have written that we need concrete evidence. And just as many times we get some vague wording, obscure videos, opinions of other players. But not once have we been provided with any specific details in specific demos. In this case I again see that XJ democheckers did not bother to share the results of their work with us, and once again limited themselves to some vague phrases, which in practice are not confirmed in any way.

The very idea of testing in the real world once again proves that there is no concrete evidence and there are only some indirect criteria they use to make a decision they themselves are not sure of.

I don't think you understand the real issue. It's not whether outside is cheating or not, it's that we've reached a point where the whole demochecking thing descends into absurdity. If we assume that there are programs/plugins that allow mass recording of demos and still pass democheckers check, then this is a common problem for all KZ communities, which should be fought together. And not to say something like: “We have undeniable evidence, but we won't tell you the details”. This is a way to nowhere. Because then there is no way to check other players. We'll just roll back to some circumstantial evidence.

1) We have no restrictions to use multiple Steam accounts
2) I don't know what Anticheat was there, how it was configured, what ban reasons, who was an administrator there, was these bans were right or wrong
3) I have no ability to see that messages, I don't know the context
4) it's not restricted to have any files on the desktop. I had very strange files on my desktop a lot of times.

So, from that list I see maybe 1 item which potentially maybe used in discussion. But as I said early I don't see any direct proof. I see one great solution for me in this situation - I trust this case to someone who knows it much better than I do. I trust him 100% on this kind of thing. And if he thinks there is no or not enough evidence, I can't argue here. I can argue with someone only when I have proofs.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending cheaters at all. But if we ban everyone just because someone thinks someone is a cheater, we will quickly come to the point where any high level player in our community will be banned. To avoid such situations we always stick to the rule that we have to see the evidence first.

So @rawe and anyone else who likes your posts. If you have proof then please provide it. Cheater will be penalized, records will be deleted. If instead of proof you have only phrases like “Look how fast he passed the map on the server” or “I've been playing for ages, I can see from the video that he is a cheater”, then please avoid further discussion, it's not constructive.

@rawe Who They? Video of what? Do you have proof that the demo recordings in this release are cheated?

@Vacant KZ-Rush point system is about quantity neither quality. It was introduced to motivate players pass different maps and make a lot of records. When Skill ranking is something that should motivate players to think about quality. It's different tasks and of course it should be calculated differently.

We can't share the formula but we will try to make it more accurate.

@Evis As always you have some made up statistics that have nothing to do with reality. There have been hundreds of such cases in Valve's history, many people got VAC just for nothing or for some software that has nothing to do with gameplay. Some of the most notable examples were the first versions of HLAE, when a person forgot to turn it off and went to a VAC server. There were also mods that improve the graphics by adding Bloom effect or something similar, which in KZ does not play a special role.

Democheckers communicate with each other and discuss many cases that you may not know about and each community has its own rules. We have never supported cheaters, but we are not going to ban everyone for made up reasons/personal animosity. If other democheckers have good reasons and proof of cheating, the cheater will be banned 100% - it's just a matter of time.

@Evis Are you sure that VAC can only be obtained by using cheats? Maybe you should study the topic better before making a 100% conclusion about a person just by the presence of a message about VAC ban? One of the latest news in this case is getting a VAC ban on AMD cards with the Radeon 23.10.1 driver. внешняя ссылка

@Evis Oh, I see that you know situation with cheaters much better compared to us, so where I can see a report about statistics which you provide? No, I'm talking about legal players who has VAC ban. You should read full comment before commenting, because there I provide an example that I have a VAC banned account too. And If you have VAC ban in any game you can't join VAC secured servers.

@jos Вопрос с VAC банами поднимался ещё до KZ-Rush, когда мы были на KZRU и тогда выяснилась одна неприятная деталь - запрети вход всем, у кого VAC бан и половина KZ сразу выпадет. Просто потому, что у людей есть аккаунты в которых много Single игр и на которых они по той или иной причине получали VAC бан.

Да даже у меня есть аккаунт с VAC баном, который был получен где-то в 2007 году. Я тогда уходил из мира игр на какое-то время, но другие люди имели доступ к аккаунту и когда я вернулся, обнаружилось, что там VAC бан. Естественно все, кто имел доступ говорили в один голос что не при делах, а как оно на самом деле - хз. Другой вопрос, что на нём кроме CS ничего не было, поэтому я просто завёл новый. А вот если бы там была куплена куча игр, то я бы на нём и остался.

@Dodik Сервер можно запустить 1 раз в день по серверному времени. Не уверен сейчас, но скорее всего там используется время по UTC. Соответственно, обнуление происходит в 3 часа ночи по Москве.
